Who else has had problems with this model. I'm on my third one and need to send it back.
Here's the problem, it locks up. First one locked up in Canada during a fishing ttrip. Not good. Contacted the company and they were good to work with. Problem was when I got the second unit it locked up also. Was able to finish the season before sending unit back in. Got the 3rd unit in November after the boat was stored for the winter. Pulled out boat last weekend hooked up the new locator and same thing. The only way to unlock is to disconnect power cord, remove chip. reinstall power cord, turn on unit and once started put chip in. Should not have to do this in this order.
Last fall when I sent the second unit in I enclosed my lake master chip so they could see what happens. Got a new e-mail yesterday saying send unit in and also send chip with. Opener 2 weeks away not really what I wanted to here. Have heard they are having alot of problems with this unit.
Any suggestions or others with same problem?
