Dog Safety

As everyone gets geared up for the opening of pheasant this weekend, make sure you keep your dogs safety in mind.
We had a brittany get shot by an inexperienced hunter last Friday. Long story short and a scary night later, she will be ok. Our vets found that one bb's came very came close to her jugular vein.

Make sure everyone in the group knows the rules. No shooting of birds on the ground. Make sure that the bird is in flight before shooting. Know where each of the members are at all times.
No bird is worth the loss of human or dogs life.
Have good and safe hunts this weekend!!
