training lab

i recently got a female yellow lab. she is 8 weeks old and i want to train her for hunting grouse. is there anyone in the range area who does this and if so what is the cost and time involved. any info is appreciated!!

you need to spend alot of time with her at a young age but make it fun, and when she is ready, use a check cord so she can learn to point. my lab picked it up real fast and she also stays close to me because she is a lab. my own personal thought is that any gun dog can be trained if you take the time and have the patience to train them. good luck and most of all have fun!
