cabin boy
When I release my depressed brake pedal it makes a metallic squealing noise. I believe it is coming from the rear of the vehicle. It only makes the sound when the engine is running, so I am unable to pinpoint the location without an assistant. The vehicle is a 1999. Any ideas from the experts? Thanks in advance!! Jeremy airjer W
Lube the area where the shoe makes contact with the the backing plate with some high temp brake lube. There should be three spots on each shoe.
cabin boy
Being kind of automotive illiterate, I assume the drum needs to be removed to accomplish this?
