LaSalle Opens this Sunday

I'll be one of the fools in line at 3am for the opener at 6am. This is my favorite lake in the area. Please have your boat ready before getting to the ramps. Also be careful if there is fog on the lake. I usually follow the shore around. I have heard the guys motoring full blast but you won't be able to stop in time. Hurting a human over a fish isn't worth it.

I didn't make it out today but I knew a few that did and they said it was a zoo. First day and warm will bring them out. The fishing was off. Not a surprise with little wind.

Well, the report I got from my buddy was just a little off. Most got plenty of fish. He must have not put a line in the water. LOL I got 30+ largies today. Hint there not on the banks. Learn how to read maps and you will do well.

Fishing was slower today. Fish here and there. The whites and stripers are eating good. I might try to target them tomorrow.
