Shack
I am positive the wiper controls are on the turn signal switch. I would try wiggling switch, click to lowest speed setting and see if you can get the speed down. I would suspect switch first if the wiper speed controls are o the switch..Good luck! Jeremy airjer W
Standard Wiper1. Disconnect wiper motor assembly connector. Turn ignition switch to ACCY position. Place wiper switch in LO position. 2. Connect a test light between connector Orange wire terminal and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, check Orange wire for short to voltage. If wire is okay, replace wiper switch assembly. 3. Connect test light between harness Gray wire and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, check Gray wire for an open circuit. If wire is okay, replace wiper switch assembly. 4. Connect test light between harness Purple wire and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, check Purple wire for short to voltage. If wire is okay, replace wiper switch assembly. 5. Place wiper switch in III position. Connect test light between harness Gray wire and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. Ice Chicken
This question may prove what an automotive genious I really am but if wipers run all the time why would it be the fuse? Thanks for the info Airjer.Do you think Sky should just try changing the fuse as a hopeful fix?
Jeremy airjer W
Under the "runs all the time" symptom tips it tells you to go to these tests. They are somewhat generic and cover several issues. Run through them and see what working and whats not. The problem should reveal itself once you figure out whats working and whats not.
