Thunder Bay Ice, other questions

Wondering about ice condidtions (truck vs sled vs 4-wheeler) and where a guy could pick up some herring. Thinking about a late March bobbing trip. Thanks for the advise, pm me if you wish ... [email protected]

Just finished up a few days on Nipigon Bay, whitefish were kinda slow but managed to get a limit, got a few herring and some nice trout. Good ice, 2-3 feet, still snow on the ice, lows below zero Thurs and Fri. Thunder Bay and Black Bay ice is good, people fishing. Wheelers would work fine, I used my sled and it was fine as well. Forecast highs in the 40's with rain early next week, I am going back out Tues while I still can.
