Gordons, Llewellyn

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good breeders for either breed. I've got a friend that's looking - I think he's more interested in a Gordon but has been looking at both breeds. His German Shorthair passed away two years ago during hunting season. This last fall we went to visit him (his ashes are scattered on the trail where he flushed his very first grouse) - after a pretty emotional bit of time he told me that he felt guilty because when his grandmother passed away he had tears, but that when his dog died he wept like a baby. After recovering a bit he looked at me and said that he could almost feel him there with us - about ten seconds later, while we both looked off into the woods, a grouse got up a long ways away from us (I think that bird flew farther than any bird I've ever seen) and flew almost straight over our heads. Neither of us even flinched, though we both had our guns in hand. When the bird landed (within sight) we looked at eachother, smiled and started back for the truck.
hmm... well the point of this post is that a good man's begun looking for a good dog. Any suggestions appreciated.

Woodview, I have a llewellin. The breeder I got him from is located in Big Lake. I know they will have a litter this year, but it may be a while. I love my llewellin. I would recondmend the breed to anyone looking for a dog. They are very intelligent and eager to please. The big thing is do some reserch on breeders before you buy. Let me know if you'd like some help.

rocky bay kennels in Pine City has produced some nice Gordons. Al and Val are real nice people to work with also.
