does any one out there know much about this pistol? it is a great target pistol very accurate. i know it is a second edition because the mag release is on top buy the trigger, any info would be great!!

These are great handguns. As you mentioned, the accuracy is usually good, and they tend to be very reliable. If you are wondering about value, you can go to Gunsamerica (do a Google search) and see a whole bunch of them for sale.
Does yours have the wood or plastic grips?

they are wood w/ colt medalion inlay on both sides i dont know if they are org. this was my fathers gun and was very well taken care of i would like to know what it is worth.
