Help ,2004 trailblazer code P0410

My wifes trailblazer,2004,6cyl with 96,000 on it,has this code on it as well as the service engine light,it states- secondary air injection malfunction.I was told this could pertain to several parts.I was wondering if there was a common problem with this year or code.Thanks for any info.

Turn the key to the run position and listen for the air pump to engage under the vehicle almost right under the drivers seat. If you dont hear it running than you can creatively bypass the relay and in effect jump it to battery power and ground (it is nothing more than a glorified blower motor much like the one that provides the air flow to the cabin campartment). If it still doesn't work, likely, wack the back of it with a rubber mallet. If it starts or tries to start running (most likely tries to start running) replace it. There is a lengthy flow chart to check these out. after the first couple I figured out that its easier to turn the key on and wack it as the first step!!
