I have a Shakespeare 45 pound recurve that is 60 inches long. It is a very quiet bow and a smooth shooter. I also have a Darton Ranger that is 58 inches and is marked 45-50 pounds and it has a flemish string. The other bow is a Browning Nomad Stalker. It is 52 inches long and is a pretty bow, but a little harder to shoot for me because of the shorter length. Let me know if you have any more questions.
