how do you fish the walleyes on devils lake?
I haven't caught one all summer. fished it 8-10 time 3-5 hrs at a time. Caught some nice craps and a gazillion little bass but no walleye

I've had the same experiences on Devils. I've heard the north end is better for walleyes, but haven't been able to find them myself.

I've had the same luck. The walleyes I have picked up this year, all under 15", were mostly caught in the NE corner. There are several different weedlines to try your luck on there. I did see a few caught just west of the weedline in the center of the lake on the deeper edges. My neighbor has had 2 days with nice eyes out there this year.

Anyone have any luck on Big McKenzie 4 eyes or ski's?

Fished Middle Mac on 8-22-04....nada...only a few pan fishermen around....very, very clear lake....fished mainly bulldogs....nothing shallow - for sure......
