Who uses Thermacell for later season turkey hunts?

I bought one last year also. It cleared the skeeters out of the area for me. If you get a breezy morning, not so well. You best bet would be to use one in a blind to get the most effective use from it. But a worth while investment either way.

I don't think you will be dissapointed with using the Thermacell. I am a member of another Traditional Archety Forum and many of the members used and swore by them. This is what I based my purchase on and I'm glad I did.

I've only had a couple times where it did not work that well. One was with a slight breeze as LEP77MM also mentioned, the other was when sitting near a campfire. Must have been something to do with the heat of the flames or something? Has worked in the woods very well though.

Love Mine got the "hen in heat" sticks for mine and boy it brings the big boys in!! no I use mine in late season and when you start it in the blind those flying buggers are looking for any way out. I have never used the deer scent sticks has anyone else?? I have seen them but never given them a try.
