**Spirit Lake/Buffalo Run**

Could anyone help me out with the location of buffalo run and the pump house on Spirit Lake... rookie looking to try this lake out for the first time this weekend...THANKS in advance!

Buffalo run is north of the Marble Beach access...basically the west side of the lake and toward the north end. It won't be hard to find...last weekend there were about a hundred shacks in that area. Believe the pump house you refer to would be near the overflow on the southeast corner of the lake. There is an access there as well, but don't know how good of shape it's in. You can get on and off at Marble fairly easily with 4wd.

If you're new to the lake, don't be afraid to try right out in the middle of the main lake basin. Seems like it's not talked about much on the DNR fishing report, but has been very good as well. I know that's where I'll be starting. Good luck out there

I think you can fish just about anywhere on the lake and you should be able to catch fish. From what I've seen and heard there haven't been too many bad reports. Finding keepable fish is another story.
