When do bucks drop their antlers?

My friends and I have hunted the Jan 1 -15 for antlerless deer the last two years, and have only seen a few bucks that haven't dropped their antlers yet. Next season we are considering hunting the muzzle loader season, and I was wondering when the bucks start shedding their antlers in Nebraska?

They are just about done by this time of year. If you hunt the muzzleloader season you will be just fine. The one nice thing it is a month long season and less road hunters than amaeuter week - I mean rifle season. They can be a little harder to hunt at this time but a there are always some big brusiers taken in our area.
