Thank you for the information, down here 12/1 nothing is iced over and we're fishing Lake Michigan for yellow perch. I have to get up there to try the ice fishing.

Anyone hear of the smallie that came out of the dam last month.I stopped down there on the 15th or 16th and everyone fishing down there said a guy just left that pulled in a 22 inch smallmouth.The guy I talked to had seen it himself. Thats one BIG smallie!!
wish I was there an hour earlier.

I have not been up there much this summer, but that is a big smallie. JJB have you had much luck fishing that big weed bar that comes off the west side of the lake by that house that looks like a fancy resort? Just on the south side of that bar, where the bar cuts back to shore whe had some good luck with the walleyes on crank baits. I was wondering if it is worth working in the fall.
