Lake Superior-Port Wing

Hey,

Anybody fishing the areas around Port WIng-Herbster-Corny or further west? Planning on trying it next weekend if the weather cooperates. Heard they were catching alot of salmon and lakers around the creek mouths, but haven't heard anything recently. And now that Skipper is gone at the Port Wing Marina, getting info is a lot tougher.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have heard that they are doing well for steel head around the cranberry river with a few splake being caught as well i have a friend that lives in herbster and he has done well for steel head in the river the mouth is where he caught some nice splake good luck
