Anyone been getting any nice yotes lately? When I was out about a week and a half ago we saw 3 when were were driving around for pheasants. Had about a 250 yd running poke at one with the .222, but didn't connect.

I'm kind of new to yote hunting, but want to get into it. Does anyone use a air-blown rabbit distress call? Do those things work, or is electronic the only way to go?

Is bating legal? I have some pretty good spots that I've picked up when duck and phesant hunting where I know a wealth of coyotes are, so spots aren't a problem.
