If so what can a guy expect when you fish this lake

Are you speaking of the Red Rock Lk in Eden Prairie??? I assume there are several in the state? If so, no. I do fish it quite often though, as I live in the area. One of my favorite panfish lakes actually. If you try, always be carefull driving on from the public launch in the Boulder Point neighborhood. There is a large culvert with flowing water just a couple feet south of the boat ramp. The ice may be thin close to that. As for the fish, I mostly fish crappies there. I have caught many large bass, small northerns and eater sunfish. Infact, we used to get quite nice jumbo perch but I haven't seen them in a few years. They're probably still there. For crappies, All year I suggest the south west shoreline in the upper portion of the lake, the northwest shorline off of the big mid lake point on the east side, and for spring panfish hit the southwest corner of the lake outside of the shallow bay. Standard tackle should do the job. a White colored jig and small Crappie minnows in the winter/summer or perhaps a Berkley Gulp in the spring. Post up if you have success! Good luck!
