Well ,that's what we called em since I was kid (and that was a few years ago)....I can picture these friendly scavangers sitting behind the cookshack in the good ole logging days at the turn of the century waiting for handouts from the "cookie" ...They are as much a part of the northwoods as the Norway and white pines they inhabit....a beautiful bird non the less....
