for anyone in Burnett County this weekend. We're raffling off a Mathews compound bow, a muzzleloader, a Beneli 12 ga., tree stands, and other outdoors stuff. Special drawings for other guns too!

Saturday, October 4

Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department’s 1st Annual Chili Cookoff & Sportsman’s Raffle, 5pm to 8pm at the Jackson Fire Hall. Chili Awards and Sportsmans’ Raffle at 8pm. (Intersections of Burnett County Roads A and C, approximately 10 miles northeast of Webster), $5 Donation for unlimited taste testing of area restaurants’ and fire deparments’ chili recipes.

  I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout. Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
