Possible Transducer problem on VX1

Hi all,

I got a VX1, 600 watt for christmas today and I was looking it over. The bottom of the transducer has what looks like an air bubble under plastic, in a couple spots. One is really small and the other is fairly large, like penny size or slightly larger. Is this normal or should I call customer service about it?

I can't say if that transducer is actually defective and wouldn't work but, just return it to the store.

Or ask the online tech support at the Marcum HSOforum. They are pretty good about getting back to you in a prompt fashion...
