Christmas for dogs

My long haired bride of almost 40 years and I have decided that we don't need to give each other Christmas presents. I have a beautiful wife that puts up with me, what more could I ask for?? We took our present money and gave about 250 pounds of dog food to a dog rescue shelter. We bought the same quality of food that we feed our own guys. I don't know whether they are tax exempt or not, not important. Giving dog food instead of cash, we know its not going into someone's pocket. I'm not suggesting that you stop giving presents to your loved ones, but you might consider helping out the pet rescue shelters near you. They need our help, especially this time of the year..Merry Christmas.

Great idea. We also donated some food and other stuff we had (collars, leashes, etc) that we have no use for anymore.
