arcticcat400
i have a 97 chevy half ton pickup and noticed that the outside of the tire on the passenger side is wearing more than the other so im thinking either ball joints? tie rod ends? or out of alignment? i was wondering if i should be concerned about driving it? any help is greatly appreciated
deadeye
Ball Joints would be my first shot. I always say to get them done soon, due to bad experiences with having them go out while driving. I had one pop on me going around a corner at 70mph. It makes for a very interesting ride. Its good way to flip a truck if it pops at the right time. Scott K
I would atleast have it inspected to see how bad it is. Most places will inspect for free.
bonehead99
My '98 was doing the same thing. It was the ball joint.
