Bobb-o
Had a problem with a couple of my reels last year that would start to be tough to reel if it was colder than 10 out, anyone know of any good reel lubes that wont freeze up when it starts to get cold out, i cleaned the reels out and put in the cheap reel lube, i think Abu Garcia makes it, and it would do the same thing. huskiesplayer15
I just put some hot water through the reels and crank them a few times, then I use airplane grade hydraulic fluid, doesnt leak or smell and they will never seize up. only bad thing is you can only buy it in 5 gallon buckets, but they last quite a while.Best FishesChris

trollneyes
Frabill makes a reel lube. It is called SubZero Lube 1669. I haven't used it, saw it on their HSOforum www.frabill.com. Hope this helps.
