Picked up my pup today!!!

He is a german shorthair black lab mix my father inlaw's german shorthair had and i thought he looked cool and he was free. his name is gus and i hope he turns into a great bird dog.

Good looking pup. Sounds like a good mix, I love my dogs mixed, that way you can get the best of both worlds. I have 2 springer spaniel/ black lab mixes. 1 is about 4 years old with the springer curls and has been a fabolous hunter and my 10 month old has straight hair. Hopefully we can get out this weekend!
