GotOne
Engine (5.9, 85,000 miles. When it is wet outside, sometimes it misses, sometimes almost stalls out-other times runs ok. In dry weather, sometimes it feels sluggish. The garage down the street changed the cap and rotor and I replaced the plug wires. Today, with the rain, it bogged out again. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Jeremy airjer W
It wouldn't hurt to pull the cap and see if there is moisture in it when it is acting up.Cap, rotor, and 8 plugs and I bet you'll be in good shape.
Shack
I think with the part change, I would take a windex bottle, fill it up with water and on a dry (good running) day, start spraying around the coil. Work from their, until it starts to run poor. Look for any secondary arcing (spark jumping from coil, wires or cap and rotor). You might have answered your own question now . Good luck!
