battery charger?

The manual for the wheelhouse furnace says not to run it off a charger, because more than 14.5v may damage the control board. My onboard charger is a multistage and the first stage runs at up to 15.5v. Does this mean I can't run the furnace off the battery when the charger is charging?

Yes, that's what it says and that's what it means. You can, and most likely will, damage your control board.
