Itching Lab

My 8 year old yellow lab, often during early fall gets quite itchy, presumably from some sort of allergy. This year seems quite a bit worse, and her chest and belly (usually pink colored) have turned quite dark colored and she is scratching almost constantly. Tried baths and Benadryl with not much luck.

Anyone have any similar experiences, suggestions or advice?

ya my female yellow lab was scratching so bad that her hair was falling out. i thought it was mites or something else so i brought her to the vet to get tested. everything was clear of parasites but they said she had allergies. they gave me some pills and it made it all better. she was on those pills for about 3 weeks.

you might want to bring your dog in to see what they can do for it. good luck.
