Jiggin' Techniques

sabre angler, I`ve done well with a plop in the mud and a slow retrieve to about 2ft. off the bottom,then let the bait decend back down with a couple a twitches ....they usually strike when I lift the bait ever try this?

As far as technique.......up and down's worked well
