looking for some input. First of all im new to goose hunting and only have about 2 dozen deks should i set them up in the U shape or familys. And the second question is the feild i have to hunt is on the missippi, would it be better to hunt the river or the field.

Any thughts would be great thanks.

if your hunting a spot where birds are frequenting, just set your decoys like you see them when scouting. if your running traffic, this time of year, a loose U composed of family groups would be a good start.
