Keeping that corn fresh...

So when I buy my corn for my Carp outings, I don't use it all obviously on one trip. I put it in a zip lock bag in the fridge for next time. But sometimes that next time out is the following weekend. And by that time, the corn just does not have that sweet smell and I usually don't get any bites, until I open a new can.

Any ideas for keeping corn fresh after being opened? I know it's not expensive, and I can just buy more, but I really don't feel right just throwing it away.

I've used those air tight zip lock containers before and they work just fine. I keep the juice too, and I think that help to hold some the the scent.
