If you use and like Whiplash, better stock up on what you can find on the shelves. I talked with a Berkley rep in Souix Falls last week and learned that Whiplash has been discontinued -- due likely to the fact lots of guys didn't use Palomar knots and did have break-offs.
Replacing Whiplash is a new Spiderwire called Stealth. It's a Teflon treated superbraid and believed to be better for knot tying than Whiplash. For muskie hunters, the 80 lb test has a 36 lb diameter and is easy to cast.
Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!
This northern boy needs a little help with this one.
Dried up kill hole in the duck timber?
Quicksand that all the deer fell into?
Cool lighting in a forest that’s so different from ours?
I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it.
Good luck.
