After our last trip my wife brought up a very good question. Of the 4 fish we caught (41.5, 40, 36.5, 34) they all seemed to weigh about the same (I didn't put them on a scale since I don't believe in vertical holds for large fish). The two larger fish where skinnier and the two smaller fish where pretty chuncky, so the question is, when fish reach a certain size, do they stop bulking up (at this time of year, not spring or winter) and just get longer or where the two bigger fish males or what? Any guess on what the ages would be for these fish?
