I think this has been well covered before, but I cannot find a thread. I have placed a fuel filter between the bulb and the engine fuel intake. Saturday I noticed that the fuel was not visible in the glass filter case. In the past, I remember the fuel visible in the filter case. So I pumped it up from the in floor tank. Filled up nicely. Then drained back into tank. Thinking something was wrong, I put a new bulb on. I keep two for backup. Same thing happened. Is this normal? I don't want to go out on the water next weekend and have problems. The filter is installed in the following manner: inlet to engine...filter with arrow pointing toward engine...new bulg with arrow pointing to engine...fuel line to inboard tank. Thanks for the help in advance.
