Hayward area fishing

I am going to fish the "Quiet Lakes" in early September. I have never been here before and only fished muskies one other time. Can anyone help me out on where to fish or what to use?

I visited Hayward for the first time myself this summer.

What helped me the most was stopping by Pastika's Bait Shop.

There are so many lakes in the area, it was helpful getting advice on which lakes were "numbers" lakes and which were more "Trophy" lakes. Some lakes were hotter during the day, some at night, etc..

We boated several muskies, and my son got his first two muskies. His first fish was a dandy 45 incher.

For what it's worth, we had the best luck with double cowgirls and bulldawgs.
