I grew up with merc. motors and thats all iv'e used, never let me down. Our new boat we are gettin this sat. has a 1995 90 hp evinrude. Any one out there have one of these? Do you like the motor? Reviews, good, bad? Thanks for the feedback.

I have a 1996 115 Evinrude Intruder and love it. Not great on gas, but reliable.

My buddy runs a 1996 150 intruder and he never has any problems with it. It uses a bit of gas, but everytime he turns the key it starts right away.

I have a 1995 90 horse evinrude, on a 1750 fishhawk. It does a very good job.

How fast does that 90 hp push your boat? How is it on gas?

The 90 / 115 HP OMC motors were always pretty good. I don't think you'll have many issues with it.
