What I wish would happen is the local county sherrif departments would put out a "dummy shack" w/ an ice auger, vexilar, etc. in the house and have a tracking device located in the items and catch the basturds w/the merchandise so they could prosecute them. All they would need to have is a radio signal sending back gps coordinates in the case of an item and track them down. I wish there was some way to set up a fund where we could donate some $ to and pay for whatever they need to buy. I haven't had anything stolen yet, but would be willing to donate some cash to catch these fools. I'm sure there would be many fishermen out there who would do the same and after awhile word would get out about the houses and breakins would taper off quite abit. Just my 2 cents.
