on board charger question

I have a tournament pro (mariner) that has been on the boat since it was new. Its a 1998 2090 WARRIOR. Problem is it will charge but does not seem to drop to trickel and causes the batterys to bubble terrible. I don't want to ruin the new batterys. any help for this or is it junk! Thanks SULLYMAN

My guess is that a 10 year old battery charger is junk, they take a beating bouncing around in a boat and I've heard of a bunch that haven't lasted that long.

Any chance you can get in touch with customer service at the manufacturer and see what they say about it?
