Lowrance 334c problem

I got to the lake this weekend turned it on and it goes to the map of the lake right away and I want the map and sonar so I hit pages and nothing happens just a beep. Is there a way to get there somewhere else? Or should I get it fixed somewhere or try to myself? Help Plz

Do a soft set...

when unit is off..hold in the page button and then the power button until unit starts up and the map of the usa appears..hope this works as the hard reset will delete all waypoints..
