Fishing Kitchi Lake

Me and my girl friend are going up to Kitchi Lake this weekend (6-20 through 6-24). I have never been up there and am really excited. Just woundering how the muskie fishing has been up there in the past,Or if I should just fish Cass? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks and Good Luck to all!!!!

Cass would be a better bet, but there are muskies in Kitchi. If I was you I would venture to Cass, it is only a 10 minute boat ride through the channel away. You could also try Buck lake, it is a little lake connected on the North side of Cass. Very clear water and I had some success in there a few years back when the water temps were still on the cool side. It is a place to get out of the wind or just avoid most of the traffic.
