I had pretty much made up my mind to purchase a X model John Deere, probably the 304 or 320. I backed off and decided that I did not need to pay twice the money to have twice the warranty. I started looking at the 100 series and realized fairly quickly that I then had to include other brands in my search.
Right now I am looking seriously at a Cub Cadet 1045 or 1046. they are $1650 and $1850 respectively. The 50 has the twin (Kohler) and I am leaning towards that.
Any arguments for or against this purchase? I appreciate any and all comments. This purchase is not coming at a good time for me, so I sure want to make the right one.
I will cross post this in the Lawn and Garden forum also.
