Towing capacity of a 1500HD

I can't find a towing capacity of this truck anywhere... I'm looking at one, and want to see a number.. anyone have an "official" towing capacity or an "unofficial" one?? I'm guessing it must be around 10,000-12,000 but want to know before I pull the trigger...
