blackduck lake

We are going up to Blackduck Lake on 6-21 for a week. Any idea if there are bass or panfish in there?

If your refering to blackduck lake north of Orr, yes there are bass as well as panfish. I have not caught largemouth there but there are alot of smallies. There are also bluegills and crappies.

No largies in Black Duck if you're talking about the one shortfatguy is talking about. Lots of crappies and bluegills, lots of pike and plenty of smallmouths.

Thanks for the info. Didn't realize there were 2 blackduck lakes. We will be at the one North of Hines at Tomahawk Lodge. Never been quite that far North. Looking forward to a week of R&R.

Ah yes the other one by Blackduck above bemidji. If you can find them Giant Sunnies limit is 5 and Crappies hard to come by also. There are a ton of perch in that lake also. Post this question in the Blackduck area forum and Drake should be able to help you out. There are also largies in there also but not very many more of a walleye/perch lake. Here is mn dnr info.
