I just scored an old commercial upright freezer with the intention of building a smoker. It is 6.5 tall 4 wide and 3 deep. with a space on the bottom for the compressor about 1 foot tall. I have a portable propane Bradley smoker that I am thinking about trying to adapt. I also am considering trying a small propane burner for heat with an electric hotplate/cast iron pan to generate smoke also have been considering charcoal. Suggestions welcome.
