stumpy_dave
I recently purchased some property on Sand Lake between Siren and Spooner off of HWY 70.I was wondering how this lake is for fishing and would be interested in any tips or suggestions as I am trying to learn the lake. Most curious about the Walleyes and Crappies. Thanks!David[email protected]
AugieAngler1010
There is a lot of mid-lake structure to work. I've fished it for crappies and had mixed luck. We seem to get nice fish but they're not as abundant as on other lakes in the area. Start working the humps and bars in the middle of the lake with an 1/8th oz white jig and minnow. 10-14 feet seemed to be our magic number last year. Also, do it during the week. The jetskis will drive you crazy out there.
