Running livewell hoses from front to back

Was just trying to figure out what everyone else uses when running their livewell hoses through the bottom of existing aluminum bench seats to cut the holes through the aluminum and also what to use to prevent rub through on the hoses or wear.

I was thinking a spade bit or whole saw and maybe using pvc pipe to run hose through or rubber gromets let me know what you guys think.
