A heavy/rough sinker?

Hey guys, I found some really nice sinkers today, but I'm worried that the lead holes (they're pretty rough) might hurt the line, what should I do, attatch them to a swivel then to the line, or are there any tricks you guys use?

I'd clean out the holes first. Run a drillbit through them, follow it up with a small file. Lead is soft and easy to work with so it shouldn't take too much work to clean them up.

Another good option if you don't want to take that approach is to thread a barrel swivel onto your mainline ahead of your normal swivel. Tie a short dropper line onto the other end of the swivel with the sinker attached to the other end. Now you have a sliding sinker on a short dropper. (I hope that makes sense. Pretty simple once you see it.)
