How much ice is out there? will we be ice fishing for the opener!

I heard earlier this evening that there is still 24 inches of ice on a good portion of the lake yet. So if it's off by the time this weekend comes around I will be really really suprised. There's a pretty nice open spot out from the reservation dam on the north end but other than that there's a few places along shore but I will be really suprised if we'll be able to get boats out this weekend.
