The sturgeon are coming up the river now . We boated 8 yesterday.51 incher the biggest.

This is some of the most exciting fishing ever. Monster fish within driving distance , that are fairly easy to catch.Dont need big boats or fancy gear.The fishing is only gonna get better,the next month should be great.

I was out last week. I posted some pics on TB's site. There are 3 50+". I started fishing them last year and I am hooked. Great way to spend the time between safe ice and ice out. Unfortunately the season is closed in Canada at the end of April instead of the middle of May but I will try and get my time in as much as possible. And as bassbuster1 says its relatively cheap too..some worms, a hook, and sinker....but be sure to have a rod that can handle some serious pulling!!!!!!!!
